Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a custom tooth-shaped cap that we place over the entire portion of a tooth that is visible above the gumline. Its job is to protect the underlying tooth and restore its form and function. In our office, we feature crowns that are made of materials like porcelain, zirconia, and EMAX, which strongly resemble natural tooth enamel and can look very beautiful in the mouth.
Tooth-Colored Fillings

In the past, dentists always had to use a metal-based material to fill in cavities. Today, though, a more aesthetically pleasing alternative is available. Tooth-colored fillings are made of a composite resin that we can shade-match to blend in with the surrounding enamel. These fillings also carry fewer risks than metal fillings. For example, they are less likely to leak or cause discoloration. They also require less tooth preparation.
